Student leadership & Voice
The school empowers students by giving them leadership opportunities such as Class Representatives, House Captains, and School Ambassadors. The Student Council provides a formal platform for voicing student opinions, developing confidence, and initiating change. Leadership roles are rotated annually and are awarded based on merit, responsibility, and initiative.
Experiential Learning - Field Trips & Educational Camps
To strengthen real-world understanding, our students participate in age-appropriate trips to science centers, museums, heritage sites, nature reserves, and even space observation centers. Educational camps are designed to promote independence, social skills, and exploration beyond the classroom.
House System & Inter-House Competitions
Students are sorted into four vibrant houses upon admission, fostering a strong sense of identity and belonging. House-based competitions in sports, academics, and cultural activities are held throughout the year to encourage friendly competition, teamwork, and leadership. Each house has elected captains, a mentor teacher, and represents a unique theme and color.
Community Engagement & Social Responsibility
Gemstone promotes responsible citizenship through community engagement programs. These include charity drives, Earth Day clean-up campaigns, book donations, and collaboration with local NGOs. Students actively plan, promote, and lead these initiatives under guidance, developing empathy, teamwork, and global responsibility.
